Slackgaze Zine Release Party Photo Recap W/ Oshun, Vagabon & More

SlackZine (2 of 34)With the internet being such an important tool in a musician’s career, it’s much easier for an artist gain a large following without having to step foot on a stage. Eventually, they will have to and that’s what truly separates good artists from talented performers. That is what made this past Friday amazing; being in a space filled with talented female artists and infinite vibes. The zine release party, held in Nola, Darling, a Slackgaze curatorial platform, showcased the DIY zine along with featured performances from Oshun, Vagabon, and an impromptu performance by Asha. The zine, appropriately titled “Pain”, focuses on black female artist and their different expressions of pain through art. For those who couldn’t grab a copy that evening, you can read it for free via Issuu. Relive the night below through the eyes of Museache.
